Southwest Airlines does not charge for your first or second checked bag. While bag fees have become the norm with many airlines, with some costing up to $120 round trip, Southwest have stayed true to their reputation of not charging for bags.
Multiple layers of stringent cleaning and disinfecting has been added, such as:
An electrostatic disinfectant and anti-microbial spray which is applied on every surface of the aircraft that kills viruses on contact and forms a protective shield for 30 days.
A broad- spectrum disinfectant is used to clean commonly used areas before every flight.
Each plane is deep cleaned form nose to tail for nearly 6-7 hours every night.
The gate areas, ticket counters, and baggage claim areas are cleaned multiple times a day.
Hand sanitizers are available at the airport and wipes are available onboard for customers.
HEPA air filters are used onboard the aircrafts, which remove 99.97% of airborne particles-similar to technology used in hospitals.
