Supplier Management

The Supplier Management group is responsible for:

• Maintenance of the Oracle Supplier database
• Collection of Supplier information
• Supplier Tax information
• Maintenance of Supplier files
• Supplier portion of 1099, 1042S, 592B tax reporting
• Caltech credit references

The group is located in 116 Keith Spalding and is staffed by:

• Rebekah Sims, Supplier Management Manager
• Jennifer Vasquez, Sr. Supplier Specialist
• Josie Frayre, Supplier Specialist

To Make Payment
Caltech uses an integrated procurement and financial system, based upon Oracle applications and databases, to generate purchase orders and produce payments to suppliers. In order to create purchase orders and checks, the system must contain sufficient supplier data for that purpose, including appropriate tax information.
