FEATURED SUPPLIER
Since 1967, Infrared Laboratories has built a strong international reputation by helping solve the advanced instrumentation challenges of the Astronomy, Physics, Chemistry, and Aerospace communities.
IRLabs have collaborated with hundreds of scientists and organizations, and have participated in the creation of thousands of successful systems-ranging from the simple to the highly complex.
Today, with a team of over 35 talented individuals, extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities, and a broad base of hands-on experience, they are uniquely positioned to help bring your scientific instrumentation needs to fruition, quickly, effectively, cost-effectively.
Five Distinct Capabilities
To meet the individual challenges of each customer, Infrared Laboratories has developed five distinct capabilities. By blending these engineering and manufacturing resources, they are able to respond to a broad array of instrumentation needs, and provide their customers with a single source to complete any given job.
- Cryogenic Systems
IRLabs research dewar capabilities include liquid nitrogen, liquid helium, and liquid nitrogen + helium. They are also well-versed in closed-cycle coolers, liquid-helium+ closed-cycle hybrids, and thermo-electric coolers. They have extensive experience in optimizing design for specific requirements. - Infrared Detectors
IRLabs are a major producers of a wide range of bolometers, IR photoconductive detectors, and IR photovoltaic detectors, all in discrete, all in discrete and small array formats. - Camera Systems
IRLabs expertise in high-performance, infrared cameras systems includes large-format HgCdTe, InSb, and Si:As IBC. - Electronics
IRLabs electronics capabilities include detector preamplifiers, cryogenic JFET amplifiers, and high-performance, modular camera electronics. - Optics
IRLabs have extensive experience in the IR filters, windows, cooled IR reflective and refractive optics, cryogenic optics mount, and advanced optical engineering.
